When you run a scan, we process the URL you submit and technical scan results such as discovered page URLs, status codes, error messages, timing information, and diagnostic output needed to generate the report.

We may retain limited information about scans submitted through the service, including the submitted URL or domain, the date and time of the scan, scan status, and basic scan-related information. This information is retained for internal analytics, service monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and product improvement.

If you enable HTTP Basic Auth, the submitted username and password are used only in memory while performing that scan, sent only to the submitted website origin, and are not stored, logged by the application, sent to analytics, or included in the scan report.

We may also collect standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and basic usage events for security, abuse prevention, debugging, and service improvement.

How We Use Information

We use submitted URLs and scan data to crawl the requested website, identify broken pages or crashes, display results, troubleshoot the service, prevent misuse, improve scan quality and reliability, and understand how the service is being used.

Retained scan information may be used for internal analytics, including understanding which types of websites or domains are being scanned, scan frequency, service usage patterns, performance, and reliability.

Data Retention

Scan data may be processed temporarily while a scan is running. We may retain limited scan information, including submitted URLs or domains and associated scan metadata, for as long as reasonably necessary for internal analytics, service monitoring, troubleshooting, service improvement, security, and legal compliance.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and its operational purpose. We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes.

Cookies and Analytics
